Inspired by graffiti art and the roots of hip hop culture
Once submerged in hip hop culture through breaking, LUVANE now takes inspiration from one of its other pillars: graffiti art.
With an different approach to wall art, using large panels with prints, LUVANE aims to add liveliness to public spaces and tell the stories of a city. In previous projects he depicted famous citizens, sports associations and cultural activities in artworks displayed at various spots in the city and on campus.
Four reasons to get creative with the urban canvas
When a great opportunity arises, LUVANE loves to hear about it. Here’s a few suggestions to get you going and inspire you to collaborate!
A colourful reminder
Famous legends, remarkable events or brilliant inhabitants: they can all be captured in colourful wall art to keep a city’s history alive for an audience from very young to very old.
Making a great place greater
The interplay between background and foreground in wall art can make a public environment feel more spacious as the illusion of depth allows people to look into an imaginative distance.
Dedication at display
In and around buildings amazing things happen, whether it be in healthcare, sports or science. Wall art depicting these activities is a great way to make this visible to outsiders!
A lively environment
Let’s face it: every city has its streets, buildings or neighbourhoods that look a bit grim or dull. But they don’t have to... imagine what colourful wall art could do to brighten up these places!
Did you know that LUVANE offers a variety of cartoons for wall decoration in his shop?
