Drawing the city’s stories on its very own walls
Street art has the power to change the vibe of of a location dramatically, and the opportunities for it are endless.
With his own approach to street art, using large panels with prints, LUVANE aims to add liveliness to public spaces and tell the stories of a city. In previous projects he depicted famous citizens, sports associations and cultural activities in artworks displayed at various spots in the city and on the university campus.

Paper, screen, brick
Wondering how an initial idea on paper ends up as an actual artwork mounted on a wall? Here’s the process in brief.
Develop a concept
Initial ideas for an artwork in the chosen area are discussed with the client. Based on the outcome, a first concept is developed.
Analyse the location
To determine the exact size and configuration of wall panels that best suit the location and developed concept, the area is analysed.
Draw the panels
Based on the initial concept and location analysis, detailed digital hand-drawings are created for each wall panel.
Print & install
A large-format print shop prints the drawings on durable aluminium panels. A specialized mounting contractor installs them.

Did you know that LUVANE offers a variety of cartoons for wall decoration in his shop?
